About

This is a blog for my musings on campaigns I’m involved with as the Bristol Green Party’s Trade Union Liaison Officer, and as a UNISON Communications officer. I may use it for sending support  to workers in Bristol in their disputes and struggles against austerity and unfair terms and working conditions.  It’ll also feature as much as possible analysis on trade union campaigns and struggles in and around Bristol and the wider political situation.  Also jokes.

As the Government continues apace with its ideological austerity program to shift the cost of the global economic crisis on to those that did the least to create it, the need to be involved in Trade Unions and political parties offering an alternative to austerity and neoliberalism has never been greater.
